Environmental sustainability is an important part of maintaining our resources. JCRF pledges to do its part in maintaining our environment through recycling programs and sustainability.

Plastic Recycling Information

Studies shows the U.S. goes through 100 billion plastic shopping bags annually. An estimated 12 million barrels of oil is required to make that many plastic bags.

• 1 out of every 100 plastic bags are recycled

• An estimated 50 plastic bags go into each American household per week.
  
  Plastic bags cause over 100.00 turtles and other marine animals deaths every year when animals mistake them for food.

• At least 3000 liters of water saved
• 3000-4000 KWh of electricity (enough to supply lighting for an avaerage size 3 bedroom home for one year).
• 95% reduction in air pollution
